Tooling Design Engineer

Tooling Design Engineer required to support Manufacturing and Process

Teams by designing, analysing and optimising production tooling for space propulsion systems. You will specialise in the design and manufacture of cutting edge components used for chemical propulsion spacecraft rocket engines and thrusters.

Requirements

Aerospace engineering manufacturing processes and production experience.

CAD, Lab Works and materials science design skills.

Degree or HNC in Mechanical or Aerospace Design.

Responsibilities

Own tooling and fixturing solutions from initial concept through design, manufacture, validation, deployment, training and in service support.

Work to define tooling requirements projects for production.

Analyse CAD Creo tooling and fixturing designs developing for new tooling.

Developing prototypes and testing new tooling and fixturing against validation plans for new complex critical tooling.
