Care Assistants - Day Shifts

I need experienced Care Assistants to start work Immediately!

My client is looking for experienced Care Assistants for immediate starts in the Bulwell Area of Nottingham. This newly, purpose-built home that boasts a warm, welcoming environment is looking for Carers with at least three months in Care that are flexible in their approach to fit into their established team of Carers. This home caters for residents with Dementia related illnesses and specialises in conditions associated with the Elderly.

You are expected to always deal with the residents with respect and empathy, ensuring they have a good quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care to individuals that are unable to do this for themselves.

• Follow individualised care plans precisely to meet the unique physical and emotional needs of each resident.

• Complete logs, reporting accurately and reporting any issues to the Nursing Staff.

• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team to perform Night checks as per the resident’s care plan.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in a residential, nursing or elderly care setting is essential so you can hit the ground running.

• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.

• Excellent organizational skills for managing essential paperwork.

For this role, you must have;

• A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
• A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service or the facility to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50.
• All relevant mandatory training in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Moving and Handling and Health and Safety, ideally with the certificates dated within the last 6 months, or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
• Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years.

The shift times are

Long Days - 0800 to 2000.

There are other shifts available on request especially bank holidays!

Rates of pay are £13.99 hour per hour. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.
