Waste Operations Team Leader

What's involved with this role

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Waste Operations Team Leader to help manage their client's domestic waste collection service, ensuring collections are safe, efficient and delivered to a high standard. Contract is for 2-3 months in Leeds LS9 0RJ.

Pay Rate

£19.32 per hour PAYE

Hours per week

37 Monday - Friday

Key requirements

Experience managing operational teams in a busy environment.

Knowledge of waste and recycling services.

Strong communication skills, including handling difficult conversations.

Good IT skills and the ability to use computer systems.

A customer-focused approach and the ability to work well in a team.

Key responsibilities

Supervise waste collection crews to ensure work is completed safely and on time.

Coordinate staff, vehicles and routes to maintain an efficient service.

Monitor service performance and resolve operational issues.

Investigate and respond to customer complaints about waste collections.

Promote health and safety, ensuring procedures are followed and incidents are reported.
