Vehicle Technician – Edenbridge

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join an established independent garage in Edenbridge. Applicants must have at least 5 years' hands-on workshop experience, be confident in servicing, repairs and diagnostics, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Formal qualifications are not essential.

Monday - Friday, 5-day working week, including Saturdays on a rota (day off in the week to compensate working a Saturday)

Vehicle Technician Role

• Carry out servicing and routine maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete general mechanical repairs to a high standard
• Carry out vehicle inspections and health checks
• Use workshop diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• Complete job cards and repair documentation accurately
• Maintain workshop safety standards and work effectively with other technicians

Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic – essential
• Confident carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in a busy workshop
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team
• Full UK Driving Licence – essential
• Right to work in the UK
