General Warehouse Manager

The Best Connection Group- Manchester are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced

General Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse and operations function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on leader with strong warehouse, operational and people management experience to take ownership of site performance and drive business efficiency.

Monday to Friday

Rate : £17.79 ph

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the site, warehouse and administration functions
• Lead and motivate warehouse and operational teams to achieve business targets
• Oversee goods-in, goods-out, stock control and inventory accuracy
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and site procedures
• Monitor workloads, improve processes and drive operational efficiency
• Resolve operational issues and implement continuous improvements

Requirements

• Previous management, supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
• Excellent communication and people management abilities
• Experience within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment is advantageous
• Knowledge of WMS and stock control systems would be beneficial
