Empower all team members to participate in implementing change by using problem solving, considering potential conflicts and planning resolution. The post holder will ensure that the staff they are responsible for attend relevant statutory training as identified by the trust. The post holder will support the development of annual skills profiling of their team. To ensure that all clinical staff are offered opportunities to develop skills and knowledge, and keep up to date with current practice, attend accredited courses and engage in own continuous professional development.. The post holder will ensure good communication systems are in operation within the clinical area that enhance high quality care and teaching for example, IT, verbal, interpersonal, written. Develop strategic thinking skills, promoting an umbrella view of clinical academic perspectives for the multi-professional team. Ensure that awareness of clinical and resource management information is used analytically to inform decisions that balance service user, student and educational objectives. Promote the use of critical analysis points and innovative approaches to ensure education is reviewed according to student learning objective and university directions. The post holder will ensure high standards of medical education are maintained within the team both through delivery and management.
