During the appointment, the post holder will provide consultant input across both arms of the service, working closely with the Team Manager, Service Manager and multidisciplinary team, and providing supervision to the team’s Specialty Doctor.

· Provide overall medical leadership across both arms of the Complex Psychosis Team, working in partnership with the Band 8a Team Manager.

· Undertake senior assessment and direct clinical input for the most complex cases across CRS and AO, including risk and medication management, diagnostic assessment, Mental Health Act assessments and CTO reviews.

· Support the team’s duty function for urgent concerns and assessments.

· Act as named supervising consultant for the 1 WTE SAS doctor being recruited to the team (see Sections 8 and 10).

· Lead, with the Team Manager and tri-borough steering group, on finalising the local clinical and operational model, SOPs and interfaces with MINT, EIP, inpatient services and primary care during the mobilisation and embedding phases (see Section 2).

· Provide a liaison/advice function to GPs and Primary Care Networks and to referring teams (MINT, EIP, CATT, inpatients) regarding the AO/CRS pathway and thresholds.

· Contribute to tri-borough clinical governance, audit and the service’s evaluation metrics (attempted versus realised contacts, 14-day re-engagement, crisis presentations) reported to the Productivity Forum and H&F Local Services SMT.
