About this role
University of Sheffield
Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of eye care professionals? The University of Sheffield is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated University Teacher to join our Orthoptics and Ophthalmology team.
This is a pivotal moment for our department as we expand our educational offerings. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering our brand-new Orthoptics Apprenticeship programme while contributing to our highly regarded undergraduate BMedSci (Hons) Orthoptics degree and diverse postgraduate courses.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a collaborative, multidisciplinary, and welcoming environment. You will work alongside Orthoptists, Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, medical fellows, and healthcare professionals across the wider School. We are a supportive community committed to excellence in both pedagogy and research, driven by the belief that world-class education directly enhances patient care, clinical services, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
-
Innovate & Educate
