Main Responsibilities

  • Own and coordinate the future-state design for in-scope Supply Management transformation activity, covering process, data, roles, responsibilities, controls, approvals, service interfaces and ways of working.
  • Lead current-state discovery, fit-gap assessment and detailed design workshops with UK&I, country, regional, global, ERP, Ivalua, GBS and functional stakeholders.
  • Lead the design and deployment of future-state processes and ways of working, translating transformation requirements into practical process maps, RACI models, activity splits, SOPs, work instructions, templates, controls, governance routines and service measures.
  • Own the deployment approach for new processes and ways of working, ensuring business teams understand what is changing, how work will be performed, who is accountable, and how adoption will be embedded and measured.
  • Define and manage data design and transition requirements, including ownership, definitions, quality rules, cleansing, migration, validation, controls and ongoing stewardship.
  • Build and maintain detailed design and transition plans aligned to programme milestones, including mobilisation, resource readiness, change impact, training, knowledge transfer, testing, cutover, dual running, hypercare and handover to RUN.
  • Coordinate SMEs and functional owners to validate proposed designs, resolve gaps, manage dependencies and ensure approved solutions are operationally viable and adoption-ready.
  • Work with receiving teams, including GBS where applicable, to confirm capability, capacity, access, tooling and knowledge requirements before service commencement.
  • Prepare design packs, decision papers, readiness evidence and transition reporting for programme governance, stage gates and senior stakeholder forums.
  • Identify transition risks early, including ownership gaps, data-quality issues, control weaknesses, resource constraints and adoption risks, and drive practical mitigation plans.
  • Monitor early-life performance after go-live, support issue resolution and ensure residual actions are transferred into accountable business-as-usual governance.
  • Embed continuous improvement and reusable design-and-transition standards across the Supply Management transformation portfolio.

Please see attached job description for further information regarding the role requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Significant experience leading process design, operating model design, service transition, business transformation or shared-services mobilisation in a complex, matrixed organisation.
  • Strong practical knowledge of end-to-end process design, ways-of-working design and deployment, process governance, controls, RACI, service interfaces, SOP development, readiness planning and continuous improvement.
  • Experience defining data requirements, ownership models, quality standards, cleansing, migration, validation, controls and stewardship in a transformation environment.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver business readiness, knowledge transfer, training, testing, cutover, dual running, hypercare and transition into business-as-usual operations.
  • Experience of procurement, Supply Management, Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay or supply chain processes is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA and platforms such as Ivalua, Ariba or Coupa is desirable.
  • Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to challenge constructively, reconcile different requirements and secure design decisions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills, with close attention to operational detail, risk, governance and control effectiveness.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, able to explain complex designs and transition risks to senior leaders, SMEs and operational teams.
