Are you a graduate looking to build a rewarding career in education and special educational needs?
We are recruiting a
Graduate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary-aged pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). You will help children overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and access education in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
•
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to primary-aged pupils.
•
Support children with additional learning, social and emotional needs.
•
Assist teachers with classroom activities and tailored learning plans.
•
Encourage positive behaviour, communication and independence.
•
Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
What We're Looking For
•
A degree in any subject; Psychology, Education or related fields are advantageous.
•
A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
•
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
•
A genuine interest in supporting children with SEND.
•
Previous experience with children or SEND is beneficial but not essential.
