-Monitor workplace standards through regular site walks, audits and follow-up actions.

-Ensure faults, service requests and operational issues are recorded, escalated and resolved effectively.

-Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, compliance and workplace standards.

Client & Stakeholder Management

-Act as a key day-to-day contact for the client, building trusted and professional relationships.

-Understand client priorities and proactively identify opportunities to improve the workplace experience.

-Manage operational issues through to resolution, keeping relevant stakeholders informed.

-Support client meetings, operational reviews and wider workplace initiatives.

-Work closely with the Portfolio Manager on performance, priorities and continuous improvement.

Team Leadership

-Directly manage and develop a team of two, providing clear direction, support and regular feedback.

-Lead team briefings, one-to-ones, performance conversations and development activity.

-Build a positive, engaged and service-focused team culture.

-Ensure appropriate staffing, training and operational coverage is maintained.

Systems, Reporting & Performance

-Manage relevant workplace and facilities management systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

-Monitor service requests, maintenance activities, actions and performance.

-Produce regular client and operational reporting, including KPIs, trends, risks and improvement actions.

-Maintain accurate records relating to compliance, contractors, incidents and site activity.

-Use operational data and feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement.

About YouWe are looking for someone with

-Previous experience managing a corporate workplace, headquarters or high-profile commercial environment.

-Strong experience overseeing both hard and soft facilities services.

-Experience managing contractors, service partners and operational performance.

-Strong client and stakeholder management skills.

-Previous people-management experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

-Good knowledge of workplace health and safety, compliance and operational risk.

-Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

-Confidence using workplace/FM systems and producing operational and client reporting.

-A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for workplace experience.

What Success Looks LikeThe successful Workplace Manager will create a workplace that is safe, well-managed, welcoming and consistently high-performing. You will combine strong facilities management knowledge with a people and customer-focused approach, taking ownership rather than waiting for issues to arise.

You will be visible within the workplace, trusted by the client and team, and focused on continually improving how the London HQ operates.
