Senior Fire Engineer

Experienced in fire engineering? Want more technical responsibility and the chance to work on challenging building projects?

We're recruiting an experienced Fire Engineer to take a senior technical role within a growing consultancy.

You'll work on residential and commercial developments, producing practical fire engineering solutions and advising clients throughout the design and construction process.

The Role

-

Developing fire engineering strategies for residential and commercial buildings

-

Fire and smoke modelling, including CFD and evacuation analysis

-

Advising on structural fire protection and compartmentation

-

Supporting Building Safety Regulator submissions and approvals

-

Liaising with architects, contractors and regulatory authorities

-

Carrying out technical inspections and compliance reviews

-

Managing your own projects and client relationships

What We're Looking For

-

At least five years' UK fire engineering consultancy experience

-

Experience developing fire strategies for complex buildings

-

Good knowledge of BS 7974, BS 9999, Approved Document B and the Building Safety Act

-

Experience with fire and smoke modelling software

-

Relevant engineering degree

-

Chartered or actively working towards CEng
