The Best Connection are looking for a
Yard Supervisor to join our leading manufacturing client in
Wheatley
Location
Wheatley
Shift times
- 7.00 am - 17.00 pm
- Monday - Friday
Pay rate
£12.71
Responsibilities of the Yard Supervisor
- Operational Management - Direct daily yard activities, including the movement of vehicles, materials and equipment
- Enforce health and safety policies and maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
- Lead, train and schedule yard operatives and assistants
- Monitor inventory levels, oversee loading/unloading of lorries, and maintain, service, or report defects on machinery (e.g. Forklifts, JCB's)
Qualifications and experience required
- Will require someone from a merchant background
- Knowledge of maintaining yard equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition
