About this role

What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential? We are seeking a motivated and skilled HLTA to accelerate progress in Mathematics and Numeracy, helping students catch up, build confidence and access the full curriculum.

Working closely with teaching staff and curriculum leaders in Learning Support and Mathematics, you will deliver targeted interventions, develop key skills and independently tutor and supervise individuals and small groups, including Year 7 and 8 catch-up groups. You will monitor progress, assess learning and provide clear, evidence-based feedback to help students achieve their best.

We are looking for a proactive, caring and confident professional with excellent communication skills, high expectations and a genuine commitment to fostering positive attitudes to learning, independence and resilience.

If you are ready to inspire, challenge and empower students to succeed, we would love to hear from you!
