Monday to Friday, 6.30am–3.00pm (39 hours per week)

Ongoing temporary, with the potential to become permanent

We are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Operative to join a busy engineering company based in East Ipswich.

Previous mechanical experience is required. You will be assembling machinery using hand tools and working from engineering drawings, diagrams and written instructions. Training will be provided on the company’s specific products and processes.

The role

• Mechanical assembly of machinery and components

• Using hand tools

• Working from engineering drawings and diagrams

• Following written instructions

• Working across different mechanical assembly stations

• Checking your work to make sure it meets the required standard

• Working as part of a busy engineering team

About you

• Previous mechanical or engineering experience is essential

• Confident using hand tools

• Able to read and follow engineering drawings and diagrams

• Good attention to detail

• Practical and hands-on

• Reliable and keen to learn

• Able to work well as part of a team

This is an ongoing temporary position.
