Graduate Maintenance Electrician

The Best Connection is looking for a Graduate Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Engineer to join our client based in Bilston.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:30

Salary

£28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with fault finding, repairs and breakdown response.
• Supporting planned preventative maintenance programmes.
• Working alongside experienced engineers to improve equipment reliability.
• Assisting with PLC and automation-related tasks.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Ideally a First Class degree or a strong 2:1 classification.
• Strong interest in electrical maintenance and manufacturing environments.
• Practical and hands-on approach to engineering.
• Knowledge of fault finding and electrical systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• 18th Edition qualification or installation experience would be advantageous.
