HGV Class 2 Driver

The Best Connection Newport is currently recruiting for reliable and professional

HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a well-established client based in

Central Newport.

About the Role

You will be driving a Class 2 vehicle, completing a range of deliveries across South Wales and the South East area.

Start time at 07

30am.

This is a

multi-drop role, and the nature of the goods can vary depending on the route. You'll be expected to carry out deliveries in a safe and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely service.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to complete deliveries
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
• Adhering to all road safety and working time regulations

Requirements

• Valid

HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

CPC Qualification and

Digital Tachograph Card

• Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
