Overview

At Trinity High School & Sixth Form Centre, we believe that every child has the right to be safe, seen and in school. We are seeking an exceptional safeguarding professional to lead safeguarding and attendance across our ambitious and rapidly improving school as our Designated Safeguarding Lead.

This is a senior, non-teaching leadership role and a seat on our Senior Leadership Team. You will hold lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection, lead our safeguarding and attendance team, and drive the strategy that gets our most vulnerable young people into school and keeps them there.

Working closely with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher, Heads of Year, Pastoral Managers, the SENDCo and our partner agencies, you will be the school’s expert voice on safeguarding and our Senior Attendance Champion. You will be visible, credible and relentless — quick to act on a concern, confident in challenging thresholds where a child’s needs are not being met, and uncompromising in your expectations around attendance.

How to Apply

If you are committed to keeping children safe and transforming outcomes for young people, and want to work in a school where expectations are high and support is strong, we would love to hear from you.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.

Please contact the School Office, at office@trinityhigh.net to arrange a visit.
