About this role
Digital Marketing Manager, Newcastle
Ambitious Digital Marketing Manager wanted to drive real impact in Creative & Marketing from Newcastle.
Creative & Marketing teams are under more pressure than ever to prove what actually works. Budgets get scrutinised, attribution gets questioned, and the marketers who thrive are the ones who can back up creative instinct with hard numbers. This is a growing SME with an established name in the sector, and it needs a Digital Marketing Manager who can hold both sides of that equation at once.
Here's what you'll be doing
Planning and running multi-channel campaigns across paid social, PPC, email and organic, with clear targets attached to each
Managing the marketing budget and reporting on ROI in a way the leadership team can actually use
Briefing and working alongside designers, copywriters and external agencies to keep creative output sharp and on-brand
Owning the content calendar and making sure messaging stays consistent across every channel
Analysing performance data monthly and adjusting strategy based on what the numbers say, not just what feels right
Line managing junior marketing staff and supporting their development
Here are the skills you'll need
Solid track record in digital marketing, ideally with agency or in-house experience in a Creative & Marketing environment
Confident with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager and at least one major email platform
Strong copywriting instincts, even if you're not the one writing every word
Comfortable presenting results and strategy to non-marketing stakeholders
Organised enough to run several campaigns at once without dropping the small details
Some line management or mentoring experience is a bonus, not a requirement
Key perks and benefits
Salary of £30,500 to £45,500, depending on experience
Hybrid working, with the flexibility to split time between home and the Newcastle office
Private medical insurance and pension contribution
Bonus scheme tied to performance
Generous annual leave plus genuine flexible working, not just the phrase on a poster
Why pursue a career in Creative & Marketing?

This is a field where good work gets noticed. A Digital Marketing Manager who delivers results here won't stay mid-level for long. Demand for people who understand both the creative and the data side keeps climbing, and Newcastle is a good place to build that reputation.
