About this role
An exceptional opportunity for a junior Entry Level Marketing Coordinator to shape the future of Marketing in Nottingham.
Marketing teams inside large organisations run differently to agency life. Budgets are bigger, campaigns touch thousands of customers at once, and the systems behind the scenes are built to last. This Entry Level Marketing Coordinator role sits inside an established industry leader with a genuine reputation in its sector, the kind of employer that invests in people early and gives them room to grow. You'll learn the discipline of Marketing at scale, not just the theory of it.
Here's what you'll be doing
Support the delivery of Marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels, from briefing through to launch
Coordinate content schedules, working closely with design and copy teams to keep projects on track
Monitor campaign performance data and pull together clear, useful reports for the wider team
Maintain the Marketing calendar and flag clashes or gaps before they become problems
Help manage supplier and agency relationships on day-to-day tasks
Assist with events, product launches and internal communications as needed
Here are the skills you'll need
A genuine interest in Marketing, whether from a degree, placement, or self-taught projects
Strong written English. You'll be drafting copy and communicating with stakeholders daily
Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic reporting tools. You don't need to be an expert yet
Good organisational instincts. Juggling several small tasks at once shouldn't faze you
A willingness to ask questions and learn established processes rather than reinvent them
Some familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling tools is a plus
Key perks and benefits
Salary of £19,500 to £26,500, depending on experience
Hybrid working, splitting time between home and the Nottingham office
Private medical and dental insurance from day one
Enhanced pension scheme and performance-based bonuses
Structured career development with clear progression routes mapped out
Why pursue a career in Marketing?
Marketing is one of the few functions that touches every part of a business, from product to sales to customer experience, and that breadth gives early-career professionals a fast route to understanding how organisations actually work. Nottingham has a growing cluster of established employers investing seriously in their Marketing functions, which makes it a sensible city to build a career rather than just start a job. Good people in this field tend to move quickly, because the skills transfer everywhere.
