Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager

The post holder is responsible for the holistic assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programs of care for clients with Mental Health needs referred to the service. At all times upholding and teaching the Recovery model and reminding mindful of all physical health needs and social inclusion ensuring that anti stigma is upheld. The post holder works under the overall supervision of the Ward Manager, but is required to undertake the duties of the post without direct supervision. In addition, the post holder will be expected to take a key role as lead on the clinical practice within the area, will demonstrate good leadership skills whilst ensuring robust standards of care are in place, including physical, mental health and social needs ensuring these are implemented and evaluated.
