About this role

The role will provide daytoday organisational support, maintain strong relationships with community champions and Core20PLUS groups, and ensure timely collection of process and outcome data. They will also support the Strategic Research Manager and wider ICB colleagues in the provision of research and knowledge mobilisation within the organisation. Analytical and judgement skills The postholder will use sound judgement to identify barriers, risks and emerging issues during local implementation of the Blueprint. They will analyse feedback from community champions, neighbourhood hubs and service users, helping interpret early signals about reach, acceptability and fidelity. Working with the Theme 1 team, they will contribute to understanding what is working well and where adaptations may be needed. Planning and organisation The coordinator will plan and organise daytoday delivery of WP1 activities across the Hampshire & Isle of Wight site. This includes scheduling meetings, coordinating community engagement sessions, supporting training events, and ensuring implementation tasks run smoothly. They will maintain clear timelines, track progress and ensure activities are delivered on schedule. Policy and service development The role will support local testing of new preconception and interpregnancy care approaches, helping gather insights that inform future service development. The coordinator will ensure that antiracism, intersectionality and equitable access principles are embedded in local delivery, feeding learning back to the wider consortium to shape the evolving Blueprint and national scaleup. Financial and physical resources The postholder will be responsible for careful use of project resources, ensuring materials, venues, and equipment for community and stakeholder activities are organised efficiently. They will support monitoring of smallscale local costs (e.g., event expenses, champion resources) and ensure physical assets are used appropriately and safely. People management While not a formal line manager, the coordinator will provide daytoday support and coordination for community champions and local partners involved in WP1. This includes organising their activities, ensuring they have the information and materials needed, and maintaining positive working relationships. They will help foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all contributors. Information management The coordinator will maintain accurate project documentation, including implementation logs, attendance records, data capture forms and sitelevel reports. They will ensure information is stored securely, shared appropriately, and submitted on time to the Theme 1 colleagues. They will support highquality data collection for the realist process evaluation and early monitoring Research and development The role will support delivery of WP1s realist process evaluation, including organising interviews, focus groups and observations. They will help gather qualitative and quantitative data, contribute to case studies, and support adaptive learning cycles. The coordinator will play an active role in testing new approaches, capturing insights and feeding them into ongoing development of the Blueprint.
