Semi-Skilled Handyman / General Construction Support Operative

About the Role

Mottaghan Reid is looking for a reliable, hardworking and physically fit Semi-Skilled Handyman / General Support Operative to support our construction and timber building teams. This is a varied role involving labouring, driving, site support, maintenance tasks, deliveries, and assisting skilled trades on a wide range of projects.

No two days are the same, so we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to get involved wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting carpenters, joiners and other skilled trades on site.

General labouring and site support duties.

Driving company vans and flatbed vehicles to transport materials and equipment.

Collecting and delivering materials from suppliers.

Loading, unloading and moving building materials.

Carrying out basic maintenance and odd-job tasks.

Helping keep sites, workshops and vehicles clean, organised and safe.

Supporting installations and project deliveries across the UK when required.
