1-1 Nursery practitioner

This is a full time 1-1 position to support children within the setting with additional needs ages 0-5.

Your responsibilities will include

Providing high-quality 1

1 care and support tailored to the child’s individual needs.

Building a warm, trusting and positive relationship with the child.

Supporting the child to access activities, routines and learning opportunities within the nursery.

Promoting communication, confidence, independence and positive social interactions.

Observing and recording the child’s progress and development.

Supporting the implementation of individual support plans and strategies.

Working closely with parents/carers, the nursery SENCO and other professionals.

Ensuring the child is fully included in nursery life wherever possible.

Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, care and confidentiality at all times.
