Are you an experienced EYFS Teacher looking for a part-time role in Walsall?
We are looking for a confident and nurturing qualified teacher to join an EYFS team on a job-share basis, working Wednesday to Friday. This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys creating an engaging, supportive environment where every child can thrive.
The class includes children with SEN, including pupils who are non-verbal and have autism, so previous experience supporting children with additional needs would be highly beneficial. Planning is already in place, so you won't be starting from scratch. You will simply need to adapt and tailor the planning to suit your teaching style and the needs of the children in the class.
The ideal teacher will
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have strong experience teaching within EYFS
- Have experience supporting children with SEN
- Ideally, have experience supporting non-verbal children and pupils with autism
- Be confident adapting lessons to meet individual needs
- Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
- Be able to work collaboratively as part of a job-share arrangement
- Be available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
- Be able to start ASAP
The role
- Teaching an EYFS class three days per week
- Delivering and adapting existing planning
- Supporting children with a range of needs and abilities
- Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Working closely with the job-share teacher and wider EYFS team
- Monitoring children's progress and supporting their individual development
