TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a fantastic independent school in Bath that is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Design & Technology Technician to join its team on a part-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong practical workshop skills, CAD experience and confidence working with woodworking machinery.

The Role

•

Preparing materials, tools and equipment for DT lessons

•

Supporting teachers and students with practical projects

•

Operating and maintaining woodworking machinery safely

•

Assisting with CAD software and design projects

•

Maintaining a safe, organised and well-equipped workshop

•

Managing materials, stock and equipment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

•

Experience using CAD software

•

Practical experience operating woodworking machinery

•

Strong knowledge of workshop health and safety

•

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

•

Previous school or workshop experience (desirable but not essential)

•

A positive, flexible and proactive attitude
