(Chase Bridge Primary School) Out of Hours Club Playworker

● Assist the Manager to plan, prepare and provide creative and appropriate play

opportunities in a safe and caring environment.

● Provide full care for the children including delivery of children to school, collection of

children from school and safe delivery to/from parents and/or named carers.

● Assist the Manager to ensure that refreshments are provided that meet the required

standards of hygiene, health and safety.

● Help to create a welcoming and supportive environment for the pupils attending the

club.

● Assist with the setting up and clearing up of the club each day

● Under the guidance of team members, assist with the management of the children

attending the club in line with school policies.

● Administer first aid once appropriate level of training has been successfully completed.

● Undertake training as required to contribute towards professional development.

● Monitor and maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment.

● Be aware of and support difference and ensure all children have equal access to

opportunities to learn and develop.
