Houston & Hawkes is looking for a confident, energetic Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our team at Regent’s University London. From busy cafés and contemporary dining to premium hospitality and university events, this is a varied role for someone who loves leading people and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

You’ll help shape a welcoming, high-performing operation, supporting our teams and ensuring consistently excellent service across multiple food and beverage outlets.

THE ROLE

-

Lead daily food and beverage service across cafés, restaurants and hospitality areas.

Inspire, coach and support front-of-house colleagues, creating a positive team culture.

Oversee the delivery of university events, conferences and hospitality functions.

-

Work closely with the management and culinary teams to keep service running smoothly.

Take ownership of rotas, stock, costs and operational standards.

Build strong relationships with guests, university teams and event organisers.

-

Take confident decisions and lead the operation when senior managers are away.

ABOUT YOU

-

Experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or similar food and beverage leadership role.

A background in quality-led hospitality, restaurants, hotels or contract catering.

-

A hands-on leader with excellent people skills and a passion for great service.

Organised, commercially aware and comfortable balancing different service areas.

Confident supporting events, solving problems and maintaining high standards.
