Assistant Shop Manager / Post Officer Worker

We are a not for profit Community Shop serving a rural community. We have over 50 volunteers and stock a wide range of products, many from local suppliers. We also have a coffee shop. Our customers and volunteers tell us how much they value having this local resource for practical and social reasons.

The Assistant Shop Manager/s should be able to work in a busy environment in an organised and efficient way, and be an excellent communicator and team player.

There is an option of 2 x 15 hour job share roles too. If the role is a job share then flexibility and good communication with job share partner is a priority.

The Assistant Manager's position is a two part role. Firstly to support the Shop Manager and provide assistance, support and direct the volunteers and secondly to provide Post Office services. Any necessary training in these roles will be given.
