About this role
As a Healthcare assistant, you will: Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients on a surgical inpatient ward, supporting the registered nursing team with patients everyday care needs before and after surgery. The post holder will assist in caring for patients undergoing orthopaedic, spinal, breast and urological procedures, promoting dignity, comfort, independence and recovery. All duties will be undertaken within agreed competencies, following appropriate training and under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
