An exciting opportunity has arisen to shape the future of our Trust Estates and create inspiring environments for learning.

We are seeking an ambitious, experienced and forward-thinking Senior Trust Lead - Estates to provide professional leadership and long-term planning across our estate.

This is an exciting time for an Estates professional to play a pivotal role in delivering our long-term vision for the Trust’s estate. Working closely with the Head of Health, Safety, Risk and Estates, you will lead the developments and implementation of the Trust’s estate strategy, driving investment decisions, sustainability initiatives and capital projects.

The role

As Senior Trust Lead - Estates you will provide professional strategic leadership and long-term planning for the Trust estate. You will support the development and maintenance of the Trust Estates strategy, Asset Management Plans and investment priorities, ensuring that resources are directed where they will make the greatest impact.

You will use a wide range of estate intelligence, including condition, suitability, sufficiency, utilisation, compliance and educational needs data to identify priorities and shape future investment. You will lead the planning and development of capital projects from conception through to delivery, ensuring robust governance, value for money and alignment with the Trusts priorities.

A key aspect of the role will be leading the Trust’s approach to sustainability, energy management and carbon reduction, helping us deliver on our environmental ambitions while creating efficient and resilience learning environments.

Working collaboratively with the Estates Delivery Manager, you will provide strategic direction while they hold accountability for operational implementation, contractor supervision and day to day estates delivery.

The person

We are looking for a confident and collaborative leader with substantial experience in strategic estates management, capital planning and asset management, ideally within an educational or similar multi-site environment.

You will bring excellent analytical, planning and decision-making skills, and the ability to turn complex estates information into clear, deliverable strategic plans. You will be passionate about creating safe, sustainable and inspiring environments that are fit for the future
