Staff Nurse - Oncology/Haematology

What we are looking for You will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration, or a newly qualifying nurse eligible for registration before commencing in post.

You will demonstrate

Compassionate, safe and patient-centred care Excellent communication and teamwork Effective organisation and prioritisation skills Ability to recognise deterioration and escalate concerns appropriately Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement Enthusiasm for developing specialist haematology and cancer nursing skills Previous haematology, Oncology or SACT experience is desirable but not essential. You will receive appropriate induction, competency-based development and support, with newly qualified nurses supported through OUH preceptorship. You will be encouraged and funded to undertake the SACT module at Oxford Brookes University, with the timing dependent on your prior experience.
