Finance Business Partner

HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is a successful merged college group, based across 5 vibrant campuses. We offer high quality courses, apprenticeships and programmes for young people.We are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to proactively identify, plan and meet the finance needs of the College group, to provide maternity cover from 25th January 2027 until 29th October 2027..Supporting the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and the Director of Finance, you would provide a professional, customer focussed accounting service and deliver insightful, accurate and timely management information to ensure budget managers, the senior management team and other stakeholders have the information relevant to their needs and to ensure financial targets are met. You will also support the preparation of budgets and forecasts and monitoring of actual income, expenditure and capital spend against targets.We are seeking to appoint someone who can demonstrate the following:• Completed or progressing towards a recognised accounting qualification e.g. ACCA / CIMA• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Finance role• Experience of budgeting and forecasting within an accounting function• Detailed knowledge of finance and accounting regulations • Detailed knowledge of finance, particularly management accounting systems and processes• Microsoft Excel skills at advanced level including dealing with large volumes of data and experience of reconciliation• Ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholdersThis post is based at either Harrow or Uxbridge Campus, with a requirement to travel to and work from other college sites as required. There may be an opportunity for hybrid working of 1 day per week after a settling in period, subject to business need.Please note, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
