We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the college’s Additional Learning Support Department. You will be required to support students in a range of subjects at A level or BTEC Level 3, as well as some students who are resitting their Maths or English GCSE.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in the post 16 sector. It provides the opportunity to gain an insight and understanding of SEND and other barriers to learning. Training opportunities are available, and the successful candidate will work alongside an experienced team who are supportive and happy to share their expertise.

Contract details

Fixed term, maternity cover

Part time, 34 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time)

Working pattern

Flexible with start and finish times between 8am and 5pm Monday – Friday.

The pro-rata salary is £25,150 (based on Grade 5, spine point 15 in the Support Staff Pay Spine for which full-time salary is £32,199 per annum).

5.2 weeks holiday pay included in pro rata salary
