Care Assistants - Night Shifts

We have ongoing work opportunities available for Care Assistants in lovely homes based in the Sutton-in-Ashfield area.

As a Care Assistant you will be tasked with assisting the elderly residents through their routines, aiding mobility, hygiene and nutritional requirements. Many residents suffer from age related illnesses such as Dementia, therefore supporting their physical and psychological wellbeing is of utmost importance.

You will be expected to do the Night checks as stated in their care plans. You will also be expected to do general housekeeping jobs throughout the night to make sure the home is presentable and clean at all times.

To be suitable for this position you must have

• An enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months, on the update service or have the facilities to pay for one up front at the cost of £49.50
• Have a two-year referenceable work history
• Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training certificates
• At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have the training, do not worry as we can help you with this with training available online at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This is an ongoing role that has the potential to become permanent for successful candidates.

The shift times are

-

Nights 2200 to 0800.

Other shifts are available on request especially bank holidays.

The rate of pay for this role is £13.25 per hour. You will also accrue up to 28 days for time served.
