Compliance Lead Officer

What's involved with this role

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Compliance Lead Officer to act as a point of contact for a range of more complex technical assessments and escalated enquiries from internal and external stakeholders including customers and members of the public, providing information, advice and well-reasoned arguments in a professional and timely manner. Contract is for 6 months in Bath, Somerset, BA1 1JQ.

37, Monday – Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Key requirements

Knowledge or experience of right to work, Home Office sponsorship, DBS/safer recruitment and IR35/off-payroll arrangements would be essential.

Experience working in recruitment, HR, onboarding or workforce compliance.

Key responsibilities

Undertake more complex technical assessments and activities and make decisions based on these assessments within a service function

Review and interpret information against a variety of criteria, including the assessment of a broad range of more complex applications, identifying and addressing omissions or discrepancies that are a barrier to processing, and issue formal documentation to third parties in line with national codes of practice and statutory requirements.

Collect, validate, analyse, interpret and disseminate statistical data relevant to the service unit, to inform monitoring and decision-making.

Process complicated assessments in line with standardised frameworks and protocols, and check automatically generated calculations, so that amounts due to paid or collected are accurately calculated.

Maintain manual and electronic systems, including formal records, for the services supported to ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and security. This includes supporting staff with more complex operating and technical issues relating to the systems.
