Community Nursery Nurse

Implement and evaluate individual programmes of care as agreed with Health Visitors Assist and carry out developmental health reviews in line with the Healthy Child Programme where appropriate. Give routine advice and information in respect to child care, development, infant feeding, breast feeding, weaning, behaviour management, play, hygiene, dental care, accident prevention, attachment, parenting skills and local community facilities. Undertake educational courses, mandatory training and training as identified by appraisal and Children and Families service objectives. Lone-worker for majority of client interactions and as such will be expected to work within agreed Lone-worker Policy / Guidelines. To record client information contemporaneously on relevant documentation in a clear and concise manner assisting in the provision of verbal and written reports where necessary.
