About this role

Assist clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting.

Support with medication in accordance with care plans and training.

Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking.

Provide companionship and emotional support.

Assist with mobility and safe transfers.

Carry out light household duties, including cleaning and laundry.

Promote clients’ independence, dignity, privacy and wellbeing.

Monitor clients’ health and report any concerns or changes in condition.

Maintain accurate daily care records and follow individual care plans.

Follow safeguarding, infection prevention and health and safety procedures.
