About this role
Come and make a difference at Karbon
as a Housing Assistant
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join us as a Housing Assistant in our Area 5 Housing Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that’s making a real difference in people’s lives.
About The Role
You'll provide an efficient administrative service which will include the maintenance of records on behalf of the team, mail merges, and process payment of invoices and manage general queries relating to invoices. You'll be required to deal with general customer enquiries, the allocation, sign up and monitoring of garage sites and enquiries relating to our furniture service. You'll also support colleagues with home visits, scheme or estate inspections, anti-social behaviour cases and take part in community events.
About You
You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload often working to targets and tight deadlines. You will be part of a team but the role does require the ability to work on your own initiative and carry out lone working in the community and in tenant’s homes. Previous knowledge and experience within a social housing environment, housing legislation and knowledge of welfare reform changes would be an advantage.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
Working With Us
The successful candidate will work in our North team led by the Housing Team Manager, Gemma Brown.
If you require further information about the role, please contact
Gemma either via e-mail
