The post holder will join a friendly and highly skilled service to provide respected specialist psychological therapy to the specialist community mental health team in Southend. Psychologists provide direct clinical contact in the form of assessment and treatment (providing both group interventions and individual therapy) with people with complex mental health needs. As a highly regarded member of the multidisciplinary team you will also be required to offer consultation, supervision and teaching to other professionals. Embedding psychologically informed thinking and formulation across MDT practice is key to psychological services working in teams.
