Skilled Poultry Processor

We are looking for a Skilled Poultry Processor to join our established team here at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the department, rotating duties including hanging and evisceration duties.

Shift Pattern – 4 shifts per week on a 3 week rotating shift pattern, 03:30-14:00

Duties

· Trimming, filleting, portioning, trussing, dressing, weighing and preparing products for packing

· Taking personal responsibility for food hygiene, quality and other food production KPIs

· To support with the general production of our chicken products, duties will rotate and include hanging and evisceration. - Hanging is a labour-intensive role and physically demanding as you will be standing for long periods of time

· Abiding to Food Safety, Hygiene and COSHH to ensure safe production of our products.

· Duties and responsibilities can change regularly based on the factory needs

What you will need

· Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative

· Enjoy working to targets in a fast paced environment

· Possess high standards of work

· Have a basic level of both written and verbal English

· Enjoy working as part of a team

· Ideally have experience of working within the food production industry, however this is not necessary as full training will be provided

We are also open to applications from candidates who are already within the UK and who require sponsorship, provided you have demonstrable relevant experience.
