Joiner

The Multi Skilled Craftsperson (Joiner) is responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of building fabric and joinery elements across Synchronicity Care Limited contracted properties. Duties include hanging and adjusting doors, replacing locks and ironmongery, fitting skirting boards, architraves and door casings, erecting stud partition walls, installing plasterboard, carrying out flooring repairs, fitting worktops and undertaking bespoke joinery tasks. The postholder will undertake both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs, accurately complete electronic work records and use workshop equipment safely and effectively. The role requires the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications and carry out work to a high standard with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will work closely with fellow Estates staff, engineers, contractors and clinical departments and will be expected to provide excellent customer service whilst working in sensitive patient environments. Participation in the Estates on-call rota is also required.
