About this role
The postholder will focus their work on preventative and early intervention activities working with primary school age children. They will mostly work in a school’s context where presenting needs are below the thresholds that trigger the involvement of specialist services and other agencies but a background in safeguarding would be desirable as we will train the successful candidate to take on the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. The postholder will work directly with parents in a non-judgemental way, empowering them and their families to get the most out of the educational opportunities available.
