An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Home Manager to manage an exceptional residential care home based in the Belfast, Northern Ireland area. You will be working for one Northern Ireland’s leading health care providers

This purpose-built residential care home is ideally located in County Antrim, providing professional, person-centred care focused on rehabilitation, personal development and promoting maximum independence

As the Home

Manager your key responsibilities include

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Home, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care to the residents

• Ensure all records and documentation are accurate and up to date by maintaining and implementing appropriate systems to ensure compliance

• Build positive working relationships with support functions so staff are properly inducted, trained, motivated and supported to do their jobs to the best of their ability

• Adhere to company standards as well as legal and statutory requirements relating to fire regulations, health and safety, licensing, weights and measures, care and trading standards, and employment

• Ensure all employee files are in line with RQIA standards

• Work alongside regional manager and directors

• Responsible for working to the Home’s budget, ensure financial success and stability

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role

• Working knowledge of the statutory requirements associated with care of the elderly is essential

• Able to demonstrate strong leadership ability in a key demanding role

• Previous experience managing a residential home setting

• A good understanding of budgets

**To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care**

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £53,000 - £56,000 per annum - Pay frequency is monthly. This exciting role is a permanent full time role working on days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
