Full product-specific training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical knowledge and specialise in turbocharger systems.

Key Responsibilities

•

Produce accurate and detailed technical reports outlining findings and recommendations.

Maintain records of warranty investigations and identify recurring faults or trends.

•

Communicate findings clearly and professionally to customers.

•

Follow relevant quality procedures and ensure all investigations are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

About You

We are looking for someone who has a strong mechanical understanding, a methodical approach to problem-solving and excellent attention to detail.

You may have experience as an automotive technician, diesel technician, vehicle mechanic, service engineer, quality technician or in a similar mechanical or technical role.

Essential Skills and Experience

•

Good understanding of vehicle systems and mechanical principles.

•

Strong mechanical aptitude and an ability to investigate faults.

•

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

•

Ability to produce clear written reports and communicate technical information.

•

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

•

Willingness to learn and develop specialist knowledge of turbocharger systems.

Desirable Experience

•

Previous experience within the automotive, commercial vehicle, diesel engine or industrial sectors.

•

Knowledge of petrol or diesel engine systems.

•

Experience in warranty investigations, quality control or component failure analysis.

•

Understanding of continuous improvement and root cause analysis.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, investigating technical issues and explaining their findings clearly. You will enjoy getting to the bottom of problems, identifying patterns and helping to improve products and processes.

This role would suit someone looking to build on their existing mechanical knowledge while developing specialist skills within a technical environment.

Interested?

If you have a mechanical or automotive background and are looking for an opportunity to develop your skills within a specialist technical role, we'd love to hear from you.
