Hays Education are currently recruiting for a School Administrator to join a welcoming school in Middlesbrough on a full-time temporary basis through to Christmas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and professional administrator to support the smooth running of a busy school office.

Previous experience working within a school environment is desirable, and candidates must be confident communicating with staff, pupils, parents, and external visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Providing front-of-house reception support
Managing incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries
Maintaining pupil records and school databases
Supporting attendance, admissions, and general administration
Producing letters, reports, and school correspondence
Assisting with the day-to-day running of the school office
Ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times

Requirements

Previous administration experience
School-based administration experience is highly desirable
Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office packages
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential
