Senior Nurse Practitioner

The successful candidate would be responsible for leading the day-to-day coordination of the unit as well as providing specialist nursing assessment, formulation and care planning. This will include leading all nursing tasks such as the monitoring of physical health of young people with severe Anorexia Nervosa, meal supports and care co-ordination for a small case load All members of the MDT will be trained in the Maudsley model of Family Therapy and form part of a care team delivering this intervention. There will also be one to one work with young people. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing individual and groupwork and willprovide supervision and professional support to relevant colleagues.You will support service development through service evaluation and audit, as well as bringing new insights through research and keeping up to date with developments in the field. Ideally you will have prior experience of working with eating disorders and experience of using therapeutic models associated with this client group.
