Duties of the

Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

• Conduct MOT tests on Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles following legal and safety standards
• Undertake servicing, repairs, and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnose faults accurately and recommend required repairs
• Communicate technical information clearly to customers
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Maintain detailed records in accordance with company procedures
• Uphold excellent customer service standards to foster long-term relationships
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the workshop environment

Requirements of the

Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

• Valid Class 4 and Class 7 MOT licence
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Minimum of two years’ experience in automotive servicing and MOT testing
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities
• Professional, flexible, and team-oriented approach
