Band 6 Ophthalmic Nurse

The post holder will support the Senior Sister in the effective management and leadership of the department and will assume responsibility for the operational and clinical management of the service in their absence. They will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, high-quality, patient-centred care, maintaining professional standards, and contributing to the continuous improvement of services. The successful candidate will provide visible clinical leadership, acting as a positive role model and promoting a culture of excellence, compassion, and professionalism. They will support the achievement of Trust values, strategic objectives, and departmental goals whilst fostering a positive working environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
