Are you a Teaching Assistant in Rugby looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference?

Hays Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a SEND school in Rugby, supporting children and young people with a variety of special educational needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on support, building positive relationships with pupils and helping young people develop both academically and personally.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be an important part of the classroom team, helping pupils get the most from their school day.

Your day to day role will include

• Supporting pupils with SEND and complex needs

Working with pupils 1

1 and in small groups

• Supporting learning and engagement in the classroom
• Helping pupils develop their confidence and independence
• Providing additional support when pupils need reassurance or encouragement
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff
• Supporting with personal care where required

What you'll need to succeed

We're particularly interested in hearing from people who have previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND.

You'll need to be

• Patient, caring and approachable
• Confident working with children with additional needs
• Reliable and committed to a long-term position
• Comfortable working as part of a wider school team
• Passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve their potential

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant or SEND Support Worker would be essential.
